Mihaela Godeanu received her degree in music, with a specialisation in piano, from the Ciprian Porumbescu Conservatory in 1977. From then to 1980 she taught piano at the People’s Art School in Craiova, Rumania. From the age of 14, she played as soloist at concerts by the Philharmonic Orchestra of Craiova. She moved to Italy in 1981 and devoted herself entirely as pianist for various ballet companies. In 1983 she started working with Aterballetto under the artistic direction first of Amedeo Amodio and then of Mauro Bigonzetti. As musical assistant, she participated in all the Company’s productions.
