EXTRA

After the success of Festa della Danza on November 11, 2018, here is EXTRA, a new day of dance at 360° in Fonderia, to see unusual and curious shows, often inspired by the world of contemporary circus and participate in master classes and different moments between them. A whole day for dance lovers or families, during which we can also taste and learn about the best products of the area thanks to Mercato di Campagna Amica. And we will learn about the work of some ensembles related to dance schools.
Speaking of contemporary circus, here we are in collaboration with Dinamico festival, directed by Elena Burani. We will live -and not only as spectators, inside and outside the spaces of the Fonderia- a marathon of performances that unite in a spectacular way different languages. To end the day sitting at the tables of an original restaurant / dance show, which tours the best European festivals (limited places, book!).

Short performances by school choreographic ensembles: Dance Studio (Faenza), Faenz’a Danza (Faenza), Università della Danza (Forlì).

Masterclass of contemporary dance with choreographer Valerio Longo, from 14 years old.

In November, we open the doors of the Fonderia in Reggio Emilia for two contemporary dance events suitable for audiences of all ages.

DANCE FOR AN IDEAL CITY: THE DOCUFILM THAT TELLS THE MICRODANZE

"Dance for An Ideal City" is the docufilm that, starting from the "MicroDances" project, explores the possibility of depicting the contemporary city through dance. Conceived by Gigi Cristoforetti and directed by filmmaker Daniele Costa and art critic Nicolas Ballario, it is screened for the first time on October 29th in Modena, as part of the Cinedanza festival.
