La danza viene esplorata come pratica di affermazione o negazione dei diritti da parte di determinati gruppi sociali, come forza di aggregazione o di separazione. Un resoconto ricco di spunti storici e parallelismi con la società contemporanea. La giornalista Laura Putti modera l’incontro.

OPUS – coreografia di Christos Papadopoulos
Performance che indaga la relazione tra musica e visione, OPUS è uno spettacolo corale, che esplora le reazioni automatiche dell’uomo di fronte alla musica. Il corpo diventa versione visiva dello strumento musicale e lo spartito diventa partitura fisica che detta la coreografia. A volte il corpo segue i ritmi e le linee melodiche, a volte si concentra su uno o più strumenti, così da offrire un nuovo codice con cui decifrare la musica.
In chiusura, il coreografo Christos Papadopoulos fornirà la sua interpretazione del tema, raccontando il suo punto di vista.
NON CI SONO PER UN’ORA, la nuova produzione 2019 della Compagnia Déjà Donné verrà rivisitata e affrontata dalle due coreografe Virginia Spallarossa e Laura Matano, mettendo in azione alcuni danzatori della Compagnia e gli studenti del corso di Formazione Studio XL.
Due realtà all’unisono che rielaborano lo stesso tema scandagliando spunti ed interpreti differenti per generare una crescita rivolta alla ricerca e la sperimentazione, condividendo le rispettive visioni e mutando, alle volte, processi gia tracciati o non ancora scoperti.
Serata di circo e danza. Breath della Compagnie L’Eolienne è un inno al corpo che respira, alla vita. In una sobrietà che sottolinea la presenza solitaria del performer, Breath mette in scena un’acrobata che vibra al ritmo di una partitura vocale composta da ritmi soffocati e violoncello.
Sensuale e inquietante, brutale e fragile, Phasmes della Compagnie Libertivore inventa nuovi linguaggi acrobatici, sviluppati dai corpi crudi, tattili, trasmutabili, per interrogarci su quale sia il posto degli esseri umani nella natura. In una suggestiva penombra, una misteriosa entità ci osserva. Lo spettatore viene affascinato da illusioni ottiche e apparizioni: una creatura senza testa diventa un delicato insetto che, a sua volta, diventa un’architettura aliena e strisciante.

On Saturday, November 4th, CCN/Aterballetto has two performances at the Teatro Municipale Valli in Reggio Emilia as part of the Festival Aperto.
DANCE FOR AN IDEAL CITY: THE DOCUFILM THAT TELLS THE MICRODANZE
"Dance for An Ideal City" is the docufilm that, starting from the "MicroDances" project, explores the possibility of depicting the contemporary city through dance. Conceived by Gigi Cristoforetti and directed by filmmaker Daniele Costa and art critic Nicolas Ballario, it is screened for the first time on October 29th in Modena, as part of the Cinedanza festival.
Fonderia hosts Paradiso by Gruppo Nanou, as part of the Festival Aperto .
