February in Fonderia

The month of February is dedicated to the young Italian choreography with the performances by the 20-year-old Fabrizio Di Franco, Ginevra Panzetti and Enrico Ticconi (Premio Danza&Danza 2019 Newcomer Coreographers), the talented Salvo Lombardo and XL Dance Company.

Also there are the open rehearsals of Aterballetto, engaged in shows in Città di Castello, Spoleto and Bari.

The Fonderia opens the spaces to the participants of the educational projects: Corpi Sonanti with Istituto Musicale Peri, Ecologos with Officina Educativa and Alla ricerca del gesto perduto 2° with LUC-Libera Università del Crostolo.

Repeat / Harleking

Fabrizio Di Franco, very young dancer of Agora Coaching Project, presents his first choreography Repeat. Following Harleking, a bizarre, ironic and caricatured duet by the talented duo Ginevra Panzetti and Enrico Ticconi inspired by the mask of Harlequin.

With Salvo Lombardo, considered one of the most talented Italian performers, and his group Chiasma we enter the universe of disco dance of the latest generation. Dance-buzz and not only for four dancers, who move with the postures and gestures typical of the disco audience. On stage there is everything: dee-jay’s console, a bar counter, the flicker of pulsating lights.

In November, we open the doors of the Fonderia in Reggio Emilia for two contemporary dance events suitable for audiences of all ages.

DANCE FOR AN IDEAL CITY: THE DOCUFILM THAT TELLS THE MICRODANZE

"Dance for An Ideal City" is the docufilm that, starting from the "MicroDances" project, explores the possibility of depicting the contemporary city through dance. Conceived by Gigi Cristoforetti and directed by filmmaker Daniele Costa and art critic Nicolas Ballario, it is screened for the first time on October 29th in Modena, as part of the Cinedanza festival.
