Auditions Punch 24
The Fondazione Nazionale della Danza / Aterballetto is looking for two dancers (1 male and 1 female) for a choreography by Roberto Tedesco, a dancer of the company and a young choreographer, winner of the Critics’ Prize and the NTM-Production Award at the 34th International Choreographic Competition Hannover and recently selected in the Rete Anticorpi XL 2021 – Vetrina della Giovane Danza d’Autore.
The choreography entitled Punch 24 will be premiered as part of a complex site-specific project by the Fondazione Nazionale della Danza / Aterballetto in collaboration with the Teatro Comunale di Ferrara from 10 to 12 September 2021 in Ferrara (Italy).
The rehearsal period is from 1 to 9 September 2021 in Reggio Emilia, at the headquarters of the Fondazione Nazionale della Danza / Aterballetto.
After the premiere in Ferrara other performances are foreseen on 18 September in Reggio Emilia and between 7 and 9 October in Ravenna, within the Festival Ammutinamenti.
Other performances are being defined.
The requirements to participate in the audition are:
– High skill in contemporary dance
– Professional experience in contemporary dance companies
– + 18 years old
The audition is by invitation only.
The date of the audition will be agreed with the choreographer and will take place at the Fonderia, headquarters of the Fondazione Nazionale della Danza / Aterballetto, via della Costituzione 39 – Reggio Emilia.

DANCE FOR AN IDEAL CITY: THE DOCUFILM THAT TELLS THE MICRODANZE
"Dance for An Ideal City" is the docufilm that, starting from the "MicroDances" project, explores the possibility of depicting the contemporary city through dance. Conceived by Gigi Cristoforetti and directed by filmmaker Daniele Costa and art critic Nicolas Ballario, it is screened for the first time on October 29th in Modena, as part of the Cinedanza festival.
Fonderia hosts Paradiso by Gruppo Nanou, as part of the Festival Aperto .
