Pietro Marullo was born in Naples in 1985.
His interdisciplinary approach lies at the crossroads of visual and performance art, installation and new technologies, deeply focused on social, historical and anthropological issues. His works are presented in four continents, in very important dance festivals, in performing art festivals, in theatres, in music circuits, in puppet/ object and contemporary art festivals, such as: Oriente Occidente Festival, Seoul International Dance Festival, José Limon Dance Festival.

In 2018 he was selected by the international network Aereowaves. Since 2015, he has been developing an aesthetic panorama on the links between reality and symbolic languages. This approach involves him in creating a ‘species imaginary’, a philosophical reflection to address the histories of societies and their common global issues from the broader perspective of the species.

For Aterballetto he created, within MicroDanze, The Wound / Archive of Western Images (2021).
