Born in 1996 in London, Grace Lyell studied ballet and contemporary dance at the 
Conservatoire National de Toulouse and at the École Supérieure de Danse de Cannes-Rossella Hightower, where she graduated in 2014.

From 2011 to 2014, whilst still in school, she danced with La Companyia Juvenil de Ballet de Catalunya, where she
 performed choreographies by Jiri Kylian and Roger Jeffrey.

From August 2014 she joined, as the youngest dancer, Nederlands Dans Theater 2. Here Grace danced creations by Johan Inger, Jiri Pokorny, Idan Sharabi, Paul Lightfoot and Sol Léon, Alexander Ekman, Edward Clug, Medhi Walerski, and Sharon Eyal.

In September 2016 she joined Aterballetto.
