Hektor Buddla was born in Tirana (Albania) in 1982. He completed the classical training course at the Artistic and Choreographic Lycée in his home city studying with S. Dajgi and L. Satino and obtained a degree in 2001. He won first prize at the Dance Meeting Contest with a pas de deux from The Nutcracker. He afterwards attended the training course at the Centro della Danza/ Aterballetto, under the direction of M. Bigonzetti.

From 2002 to 2008, he performed with the Balletto di Roma and danced roles in choreographies by Monteverde, Zullo and Bigonzetti.
In 2005 he took part in the event “La Notte Bianca” in Campidoglio, Rome, and he was Mercutio in an excerpt from Romeo and Juliet by Amodeo Amodio with Roberto Bolle and Alessandra Ferri. In 2005 he danced as principal at Teatro Massimo of Palermo in The Nutcracker by Amodio. In 2007 he was invited as principal by Teatro di Verona for Romeo and Juliet by Amedeo Amodio.

He joined Aterballetto in August 2008. In 2014 he created for Aterballetto Revolution, in 2015 NORDEST 41° 19″, in 2016 Però… and in 2017 Kronos. In summer 2017 he gained the lifetime achievement award at Festival della Danza in Capri.

His choreography L180 is within the dance and photography project In/Finito (2018).
In 2019 he created Una Carmen.Don Josè for Nuovo Balletto Classico.
