MICRODANCES

On Sunday 22 January, Bergamo and Brescia will open the doors of all their cultural venues on the occasion of the celebrations for the official start of the year Bergamo Brescia Capital of Culture 2023. Theatres, museums, cinemas, libraries, foundations and many other entities, some of which will be open to the public on an exceptional basis, will host exhibitions, conferences, exhibitions and events. A moment of widespread and pervasive culture that will officially inaugurate the year of the Italian Capital of Culture 2023.

Within this context, thanks to the collaboration with the Fondazione Brescia Musei, four of our MicroDances will animate some of the city’s most iconic cultural venues such as the Capitolium, the Museum of Santa Giulia (Basilica di San Salvatore e Coro delle Monache) and the Pinacoteca Tosio Martinengo. These pieces will anticipate the show An Ideal City, with several replicas between 3 and 5 March in the museum spaces of Brescia, soon available for pre-sale to the public.

The MicroDances on stage are:

Eppur si muove by Francesca Lattuada at the Capitolium – 11.00 am, 2.30 pm and 3.30 pm

Platform02 di Ina Lesnakowski at the Museo di Santa Giulia / Coro delle Monache – 12.00 pm, 4.00 pm and 5.30 pm

Near Life Experience by Angelin Preljocaj at the Pinacoteca Tosio Martinengo – 12.30 pm, 5.00 pm and 7.00 pm

The fourth MicroDanza is a new creation by Diego Tortelli for two dancers entitled Yes, Yes… and to the music Silver Factory Redux by Dean&Britta. It will be performed at the Museo di Santa Giulia / Basilica di San Salvatore – 11.30 am, 4.00 pm and 5.30 pm
