ALICE IN WONDERLAND

{%CAPTION%}

Alice in Wonderland is the new, colourful choreography by Carlo Massari and Emanuele Rosa, who transposes Lewis Carroll’s novel into dance. The choreographers have created a ballet for children and families, genuine and faithful to the spirit of Lewis Carroll’s beloved childhood classic. Immediately recognisable are the different characters such as the Mad Hatter, the susceptible White Rabbit, a wiggly caterpillar, the dark and moody Queen of Hearts, the Cheshire Cat and the crazy tea party.

Confusion mounts, until Alice wakes up with a start: was it just a daydream?

AGORA COACHING PROJECT is an annual dance training project aimed at dancers aged between 18 and 22, based in Reggio Emilia. Created in 2010, it is directed by Michele Merola and Enrico Morelli, and is promoted and supported by the MM Contemporary Dance Company and the Permanent Dance Centre of Reggio Emilia. Its aim is to train artists ready to deal flexibly with the variety of the international dance market, artists able to respond to the different technical/stylistic demands of this market. The project aims to offer a wide range of technical, cultural and exchange stimuli between students and choreographers, each of whom comes from and works in different realities among the most interesting on the international scene. Agora, in fact, brings students together with established choreographers of different stylistic orientations, and has seen the presence of many illustrious names over the years: along with Michele Merola and Enrico Morelli, various teachers, each with proven and qualified experience in the sector, collaborate in the realisation of the project.
